EDIBLE OIL PLANT

Edible oil plants are plants that produce a liquid fat that can be used for cooking, baking, and other uses. These plants are also known as oil-seed plants and are often woody in nature. Some well-known edible oil plants include: Oil palm, Oil-seed camellia, Olive, and Coconut.

Edible oils are also known as vegetable oils when they are extracted from plants. They are often used in processed foods like salad dressings, margarine, mayonnaise, and cookies.
